Chaparral's
A992/A572-50 steel, sold in Canada as 44W/50W, is
mill-certified and meets multigrade requirements. For the
United States and Mexico, it is produced so that both ASTM
A992 and ASTM A572 Grade 50 specifications are met. For
Canada, it satisfies the specifications for both CSA G 40.21
Grade 44W and CSA G 40.21 Grade 50W.

All products are sold on
theoretical weight. The minimum for interstate truck rates
is 44,000 lbs., and 42,000 lbs. for truck shipments within
Texas. For rail, it is 140,000 lbs.
- Shipping:
We can accommodate rail and truck
shipments from Midlothian, Texas and Petersburg, Virginia.
All rail charges are billed prepaid. Truck charges can be
billed prepaid (material cost plus freight combined on
invoice) or prepaid and add (material cost plus freight
shown separately on invoice). Customers may also use their
own vehicles.
