All Gerdau Ameristeel steel mills employ an EMS Environmental Management System that is consistent with the principals outlined in our environmental policy statement. The primary objective of this system is to continuously improve environmental conditions. Formulated according to the ISO 14001 Norm, the system also involves the systematic monitoring of environmental parameters in the air, water and soil.
